New to X-Plane Mobile?

Learn to fly on the most realistic simulator there is.

Meet X-Plane Mobile.

With the X-Plane applications for the Palm Pre and Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch, the most powerful flight model available for desktop PCs has finally become portable. But it's not only spectatularly realistic--it's fun! Just ask the half million people who own the apps already.

More than just a flight model

The X-Plane Mobile apps have more than just a killer flight model. Each application comes with four to six aircraft, which can be flown through the virtual skies of four to six regions of the globe, spanning from America's West Coast to the capital of Nepal. Click here to learn more .

What's the difference?

Wondering what the difference is between the Palm Pre and iPhone/iPod Touch versions of X-Plane Mobile? The answer is... almost nothing. Click here for more information.

Inside X-Plane Mobile.

The power of the desktop simulator

The X-Plane Mobile apps are built on a flight model that is 95% as accurate as the one in the desktop simulator--that is, 95% as accurate as the flight model used by companies like Boeing, NASA, Van's Aircraft, Carter Aviation, and more.

The key is blade element theory.

X-Plane Mobile, just like X-Plane Desktop, works by breaking down an aircraft into a number of small pieces. It calculates the forces acting on those pieces individually to move the aircraft. It's because of this that the aircraft in X-Plane Mobile fly just like the ones in the real world. Click here to learn more.
