X-Plane has the ability to download real weather off the internet and load that weather into the sim! With real weather being reported at thousands of airports world-wide, this gives X-Plane a planet-wide real-time weather situation for you to fly in. If you are using Real-Weather, the Weather-Briefer will actually use this info to give you a realistic weather-briefing before you fly, just as if you were calling flight service for real! The terminology and even weather for your route will be accurate!

To use Real-Weather, simply go to the "SET WEATHER" window in the "SETTINGS" menu and enable the "Real Weather Download" if you have a net connection... X-Plane will then download real weather as often as you like, keeping you flying through actual current reported conditions!
